Edgecombe Early College High

 

Edgecombe Early College High School (EECHS) is a comprehensive five-year public high school enrolling 202 students in grades 9–13.  We are located on the campus of Edgecombe Community College.  Our school is a part of Edgecombe County Public Schools and serve as a high school of choice that accepts a cohort of approximately 40 ninth graders per year.  Our goal is to improve the college attendance rate for students in our community by exposing them to a rigorous curriculum inclusive mainly Honors courses as well as dual-enrollment community college courses.  In addition, we aim to serve first-generation college students.
